Best Gluten-Free Restaurants in Las Vegas on The Strip

Mon Ami Gabi

If you want to devour one of the best gluten-free breakfasts on the Strip while enjoying beautiful views of the Bellagio Fountains, then the French bistro, Mon Ami Gabi, is your spot. Located in the Paris Resort & Casino Hotel, almost everything on the breakfast menu with the exception of the crepes can be prepared gluten-free. From smoked salmon eggs benedict to waffles dripping in blueberry sauce, you’ll be more than ready to explore the Sin City after fueling up here. Besides a great breakfast, Mon Ami also offers fantastic options for lunch and dinner.

The dedicated gluten-free dinner menu includes French classics such as liver pate, filet mignon, crispy duck confit, and my favorite, crème brûlée. To top it all off, every meal comes with warm gluten-free bread, sweet buttercream, and complimentary olives in roasted garlic, and herbs. As a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, you can expect staff to be knowledgeable and well trained, and for proper procedure to be put in place to avoid cross-contamination. This includes, separate fryers, toaster, and allergy sticks on gluten-free foods.

From fantastic views, and scrumptious meals, to knowledgeable staff and creme brulees, Mon Ami is without a doubt one of the best gluten free restaurants on the Strip. Mon Ami Gabi also has other locations in Chicago, Maryland, and Virginia.

Celiac Note: Some of the items contain oats that are not certified gluten-free, so if you are sensitive, please ask the waiter if any of the food items contain them.

El Segundo Sol

El Segundo Sol, is an authentic Mexican restaurant celiacs can trust and love. Not only are the staff extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease, but gluten-free orders are filled on pink slips to let the kitchen know it is an allergy sensitive meal. They have a dedicated fryer, the tortillas are certified gluten-free, gluten-free dishes come out with allergy sticks on them, and they have bottomless salsa and chips which even we can take part of! In case that’s not enough, they also have $5 margaritas during happy hour.

At El Segundo, you’ll always win! Guaranteed! Start eating your way through the dedicated gluten-free menu with bottomless chips and salsa, and freshly made guacamole. Then take your pick of the mouth-watering slow braised pork or the Mahi-Mahi tacos. Not feeling tacos? Then the cheesy, perfectly cooked carne asada enchiladas are waiting to send your taste buds on a trip to Mexico! Located right across from the Wynn, you won’t find a more delicious Mexican gluten-free restaurant on the Strip then El Segundo.

Stripburger

Next door to El Segundo, Stripburger is where you need to go to satisfy your burger and beer cravings. Though there isn’t a dedicated gluten-free menu, Stripburger is part of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurant group which is well known for catering to celiacs and having several procedures in place to avoid cross-contamination. Some of those procedures include allergy sticks, dedicated fryer and prep space, and trained staff who will immediately ask if you have an allergy before ordering. Not to mention, the gluten-free options are plentiful. Whether you’re ordering your burger lettuce wrap or a gluten-free bun, almost all their burgers can be made gluten-free! Stripburger is also a great spot on the Strip for happy hour or a late night bite.

Veranda

Throughout my gluten-free travels, I have always found Italian restaurants to be the most accommodating to celiacs, and Veranda at the Four Seasons is no different. From breakfast to dinner you will be spoiled and properly catered to. Start your day with a fantastic breakfast which includes waffles, pancakes, sausages, or a breakfast sampler in which you get a little bit of everything. After sightseeing, come back for more and try almost anything you want off the menu, almost everything can be made gluten-free. The chef and kitchen are very accommodating. As for the rest of the staff, they are well educated on celiac needs and are happy to explain their precaution procedures which include preparing gluten-free food in a separate area with separate, dedicated utensils and equipment. Your gluten-free dining experience at Veranda will be nothing short of extraordinary, so don’t miss out!

Viva Las Arepas

Arepas, arepas, arepas! What can I say, they’re usually cheap, filling, scrumptious, and thankfully almost always gluten-free. The Venezuelan restaurant, Viva Las Arepas is the best and only spot in Vegas to satisfy your arepa cravings. Get ready to sample a variety of arepas, from roasted pork butt, and wood-fire shredded chicken, to black beans and cheese, you can have it all as all the arepas on the menu are gluten-free! I recommend ordering at least two or three, because they’re not only delicious but almost everything else (fried items) is off limits due to contaminated oil. Nonetheless, Viva Las Arepas is worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for an inexpensive gluten-free meal while on the strip.

Located in Crystals, the upscale luxury shopping mall, the Italian Cucina knows how to treat celiacs right. Homemade gluten-free pasta, gluten-free pizza, as well as waiters and staff who are well-versed on cross-contamination make up the gluten-free perks of this location. Though there isn’t a dedicated menu, the waiter will gladly walk you through which meals on the main menu can be adapted to be gluten-free as well as to accommodate other allergies. Popular gluten-free choices include rigatoni with pomodoro sauce, ravioli, flourless cake, and some of the best gluten-free pizza in Las Vegas! Sushi Roku

The inventive Sushi Roku restaurant is well known in Las Vegas for providing an exceptionally unique sushi experience the likes of which you won’t find anywhere else in Nevada. Luckily celiacs can enjoy this experience as well. Sushi Roku’s dedicated gluten-free menu highlights traditional Japanese dishes like miso soup, yakitori, sashimi, and of course sushi. Actually, all their sashimi and sushi can be made gluten-free even the baked crab rolls, as they use real crab meat. To make it even better, they make their own gluten-free soy sauce and ponzu. Now that’s what I call accommodating. Sushi Roku uses fresh, seasonal, global ingredients to create a unique sushi experience which no gluten-free eater should miss during their trip to Vegas!

Best Gluten-Free Friendly Buffets In Las Vegas

As a celiac, one of the first things we learn to avoid are buffets due to the high possibility of cross contamination. However, in the buffet capital of the world there are a few gluten-free friendly restaurants which can cater to us. Though I cannot give a personal account, many celiac travelers have stated that they ate safely at the following buffets in Las Vegas, and would highly recommend them. As always, make your own judgement on whether it’s safe or not to eat there as no one has your level of strictness or tolerance.

At each of these buffets you should let the waiter know that you have celiac, they’ll then ask if you would like the chef to walk you through the buffet to show you what is and isn’t safe to consume. Also, all the chefs are willing to make some dishes specially for you in the kitchen if you request it.

Here are the best gluten-free friendly buffets in Las Vegas according to the celiac and gluten-free community.

ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas

Aria makes every effort to keep gluten-free items separate from gluten items whenever possible. They offer made-to-order gluten-free pizza and pasta, while the buffet includes options like prime ribs, tiramisu, crab legs, and more.

Buffet At Wynn

Wynn is said to have one of the largest gluten-free options in Vegas. Made-to-order options include gluten-free pancakes, brownies, pizza, and waffles to name a few.

Wicked Spoon

Located at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Wicked Spoon is one of the most highly rated gluten-free friendly buffets by the celiac community. The restaurant offers a buffet in which every item is labelled whether it’s gluten-free or not. Some made-to-order items include: french toast, pizza, and pasta. The buffet is said to have plenty of gluten-free options, and an entire gluten-free dessert section.

Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Las Vegas (Off The Strip)

House of Manchester Caribbean Grill ★

When it comes to Vegas, there’s a variety of different types of cuisine, from Mexican to Italian, however in the Caribbean department it falls short. Luckily, House of Manchester’s Caribbean Grill is there to fill that gap and give gluten-free eaters a delicious dining experience. Succulent jerk chicken, coconutty rice and peas, flaky Jamaican patties, fried sweet plantains, and perfectly stewed curry goat are just a few of the long lists of dishes awaiting you at this small restaurant in North Las Vegas. The food is not only homemade and unbelievably delicious, it’s also 100% gluten-free. The owner and staff members are super friendly and accommodating to other allergies as well. If you’re seeking a different and scrumptious gluten-free meal while in Vegas, House of Manchester is worth leaving the Strip for. You won’t regret it.

Fruits and Roots Wellness Kitchen

Las Vegas is filled with spots serving unhealthy options, however at Fruits and Roots you’ll get exactly what the body and mind needs, nutritional, organic, and real food! The 98% gluten-free menu focuses on cold pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, build-your own wellness bowls, and wraps with many vegan and vegetarian options. The few options which aren’t gluten-free can’t cause cross-contamination as the wraps, wellness bowls, granola, dressings, and acai bowls are all gluten-free. An added bonus is that they have a drive thru. A drive thru with a 98% gluten-free menu, now that’s what I call winning in Vegas. Fruits and Roots also has a second location on Blue Diamond Rd.

Lazy Joe’s Fish and Chips

Sinfully good fried food which happens to be gluten-free is Lazy’s Joe’s specialty. All the fried foods at this small hidden gem are 100% gluten-free! Gluten-free fish and chips, chicken fingers, onion rings, fried calamari, and mozzarella sticks, need I say more? You should try the sampler option, so you can get a little taste of everything, then get a bit more of whatever you enjoyed. The made-to-order, perfectly seasoned, crispy fish and chips always takes me back to the amazing fish and chips I devoured on my gluten-free London trip.

The homemade batter is made of corn flour and everything is fried in soybean oil, so my celiac friends allergic to or who can’t handle corn or soy, this spot is not for you. Though some gluten containing items are on the menu like sandwiches, wraps, mayo, and hush puppies, the staff are knowledgeable and understand cross contamination. For a sinfully good gluten-free option while in Sin City, head to Lazy Joe’s.

FireFly Tapas Kitchen

If you are looking for a fun eating experience with a group while in Vegas, then Firefly’s small shared dishes will be a hit. The beauty of tapas is that they are small portions, and thus allow you to get a little taste of everything while enjoying communal eating. As for what you can eat here, the possibilities are more than you can imagine. The dedicated gluten-free menu has traditional Spanish dishes such as tortillas, paella, patatas bravas, and grilled octopus. Did I mention you can have sangria too? If you manage to save room for dessert, there are also plenty of options to choose from. Just a word of advice, this place is packed all the time, so be sure to make a reservation to avoid long wait time.
